Wildflower Pediatric Therapy in Waterville, ME is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our growing team. We are aiming for full-time but can be flexible for the right person.

We welcome new graduates and prefer pediatrics experience; licensure as an OT is required. You will assess, treat, document progress, and collaborate with a medical team to develop patient-centered care plans.

Qualifications

• Licensed OT currently in good standing.
• Pediatrics experience preferred but not required.
• New graduates welcome to apply.
• Ability to work independently.
• Motivated and passionate about growing with a new clinic.
• Must pass all background checks.

Responsabilités

• Perform initial and annual evaluations using a combination of standardized and non standardized assessments.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide direct patient care, ensuring safety and comfort during therapy sessions.
• Conduct assessments and document patient progress in accordance with established protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and modify care plans based on patient needs.
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions for patients leaving therapy.
• Educate patients and their families about therapeutic techniques and home exercises.
• Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, treatments provided, and progress notes.
• Stay updated on medical terminology and best practices within occupational therapy.
