Job summary

CDS PEDS in Waterville, ME is seeking a qualified pediatric Occupational Therapist to join a team serving preschool children ages 3-5. This is a 40-hour-per-week academic-year position requiring travel within the Central Maine area, with experience in multidisciplinary settings preferred.

The successful candidate will evaluate and treat children birth through 5, contribute to IFSP/IEP planning, and coordinate with families to support developmental goals in natural environments.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of child development, disabilities, family systems, and special education methods.
• Ability to interact with a wide variety of people and work collaboratively in a preschool setting.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat preschool children 3-5-years-old as part of an IFSP/IEP team.
• Participate in evaluation, assessment, and development of goals for the child.
• Contribute to written reports and documentation for MaineCare and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with CDS Case Managers and other providers.
