Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Occupational Therapist or completion of clinical experience.
• Strong critical thinking skills and a flexible, growth-oriented mindset.
• In-depth knowledge of OT principles and practices.
• Valid OT license, or anticipated licensure date.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate clients to assess their eligibility for occupational therapy services.
• Develop and adapt individualized treatment plans tailored to the client’s unique needs.
• Implement interventions designed to maximize gross motor skills and independence.
• Educate family members and caregivers on exercises and care strategies.
• Document patient progress and treatment plans in accordance with clinic policies.

Skills

Proven experience as an Occupational Therapist

Strong critical thinking skills

In-depth knowledge of OT principles

Familiarity with OT assessments and Medicaid guidelines

Ability to work with diverse patient personalities

Continuous drive to learn

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Valid OT license

Graduate degree or higher in occupational therapy
