Job summary

Stellar Therapy Services is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to join an outpatient pediatric team. You will help children participate in home, school, and community activities with patient-centered care.

The role emphasizes collaboration with families, physicians, and educators to develop tailored treatment plans and outcomes, while maintaining high standards of safety and documentation.

Qualifications

• Degree in OT from an accredited program.
• Current OT license or eligibility in the applicable state.
• Experience working with pediatric populations preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children and families.
• Ability to work collaboratively on a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate pediatric clients to identify strengths, challenges, and therapy needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessments and goals.
• Provide direct occupational therapy interventions for children with developmental, sensory, motor, and functional needs.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans to achieve meaningful outcomes.
• Educate and coach parents, caregivers, and families on home programs and carryover strategies.
• Collaborate with physicians, educators, therapists, and care team members for comprehensive care.
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately and timely.
• Maintain compliance with clinical standards, safety guidelines, and regulations.
• Contribute to a positive, child-centered therapy environment.
