LEE'S DEVELOPMENTAL SERVICES in New Jersey is seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team and provide high-quality care to children with developmental delays. The Occupational Therapist will assess clients' functional abilities, develop treatment plans, and provide therapy to help clients improve their physical, cognitive, and motor skills and abilities.

Competenze

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current state license as an Occupational Therapist
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist
• Strong understanding of evidence-based practices and ability to apply them in practice
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with clients, families, teams, and other healthcare professionals
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Mansioni

• Provide ongoing assessment and support team recommendation of frequency, intensity, and duration of OT services during the IFSP meetings with families and the Early Intervention Team.
• Occupational therapy includes services to address the functional needs of a child related to adaptive development, adaptive behavior and play, and sensory, motor, and postural development.
• Providing individual services or strategies to prevent or minimize the impact of initial or future impairment, delay in development, or loss of functional ability based on the family's outcomes as per IFSP.
• Maintain records of contacts with family and child, progress towards individual outcomes, and a periodic reevaluation of progress according to IFSP requirements.
• Participating as part of multidisciplinary service delivery team training parents .
• Reliable transportation to travel to families homes and flexible working hours.
