Job summary

All Care Therapies is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our Home Health team, delivering compassionate care in patients' homes across Nevada. You will collaborate with families and a multidisciplinary team to implement comprehensive plans of care for pediatric clients.

The ideal candidate has pediatric OT experience, an active NV license or eligibility, CPR certification, and a valid driver’s license. We offer flexible hours and a supportive, patient-centered work environment.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current and unrestricted NV Occupational Therapy license; or ability to apply.
• At least one year of experience as a pediatric occupational therapist is preferred.
• Continued education requirements maintained.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current state driver’s license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pediatric patient assessments and evaluations in patients' homes to determine physical condition, limitations, medical histories, and personal goals.
• Create and update treatment plans, testing and measuring patient’s strength and flexibility.
• Confer with physicians, patients and their families, nurses, therapists, social workers, and other members of a patient's care team.
• Demonstrate exercises to help pediatric patients perform daily tasks and relieve pain.
• Educate a pediatric patient’s family about home care and accommodations.
• Assess pediatric patient progress against goals and prepare reports for healthcare providers and insurers.
• Complete all clinical notes in a timely manner using the EMR system.
• Contribute to meetings and case conferences to ensure coordinated care plans.
• Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures.
