Job summary

HonorVet Technologies is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in Homewood/Highland, IL area. The role offers full-time hours in a flexible mix of school-based and clinic-based therapy to support children’s developmental goals.

You will conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team while maintaining thorough documentation and delivering evidence-based care. Illinois OT licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois Occupational Therapy license is required.
• 1-2 years pediatric experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Passion for working with the pediatric population.
• Commitment to compassionate, high-quality care.
• Interest in helping children reach developmental and functional goals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for pediatric clients.
• Provide engaging, evidence-based occupational therapy services in clinic and/or school-based settings.
• Support client progress through creative and individualized treatment approaches.
• Supervise OTA-level providers when applicable to support continuity of care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary therapy team to support positive client outcomes.
• Build strong therapeutic relationships with children and their families.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other professionals involved in each child's care.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
