Qualified candidates should possess at least 2 years of acute care experience and obtain necessary licensure prior to starting. The scheduled hours for this position are 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

Job description

A Pediatric Occupational Therapist is needed at a 198-bed, Level III trauma center in Farmington, NM, serving the Four Corners region of New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, and Utah.

Role

This position focuses on occupational therapy services within the pediatric unit of a full-service regional medical center whose offerings span medical, surgical, rehabilitation, behavioral health, day surgery, and a dedicated childbirth and cancer center. The therapist will evaluate and treat pediatric patients, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to support functional recovery and development. The position requires sound clinical judgment and the ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team across a complex acute care environment.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of acute care experience
• BLS required upon submission
• All other required certifications can be obtained after hire; please refer to Life Support Certification document in attachments
• Licensure: open to candidates who do not hold New Mexico or Compact licensure; candidates must obtain prior to start
