Role Description

The Pediatric Occupational Therapist will provide direct, in clinic therapy services to children at our Creve Coeur, MO location in a part or full-time capacity. Day-to-day responsibilities include evaluating children’s motor, sensory, and functional skills, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering play-based interventions that address self-care, fine motor skills, and participation in daily routines. The role involves ongoing documentation of care, progress monitoring, and communication with families and caregivers to support carryover of strategies at home and school. The therapist will collaborate with other professionals, participate in team meetings, and contribute to a positive, child-centered clinic environment.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Occupational Therapy and Pediatrics, with the ability to tailor interventions to diverse developmental needs.
• Experience with Sensory Integration approaches and related strategies to support regulation, attention, emotional regulation and participation.
• Background in Early Intervention and Working With Children, including family-centered practices and caregiver coaching.
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Licensed COTA/L may also apply
• Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an Occupational Therapist or assistant in Missouri.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work on-site full-time and manage a caseload in a pediatric clinic setting.
• Previous pediatric clinic, school-based, or early intervention experience is preferred.
