Job summary

The Therapy SPOT in Farmington, MI is seeking a full-time Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join a neurodivergent-affirming pediatric clinic. You will conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide direct OT services to children and young adults.

Company Description The Therapy SPOT is a neurodivergent-affirming pediatric therapy clinic specializing in speech-language, physical, and occupational therapy. The clinic provides comprehensive evaluations and individualized therapy plans for children and young adults. Care is focused on treating the whole child, with a strong emphasis on collaboration with families and other members of the patient’s care team. Role Description This full-time, on-site Pediatric Occupational Therapist role is based at The Therapy SPOT in Farmington, MI. The therapist will conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide direct occupational therapy services to children and young adults. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing sensory integration strategies, supporting functional skills for daily activities, documenting progress, and communicating regularly with caregivers and interdisciplinary team members. The role involves collaborating with families, educators, and other professionals to support goals across home, school, and community settings, as well as participating in team meetings and continuing education activities.
Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in Occupational Therapy and Pediatrics for providing developmentally appropriate interventions to children and young adults.
• Experience with Sensory Integration approaches to address regulation, motor planning, and functional participation.
• Background in Early Intervention and Working With Children, including family-centered care and collaboration with caregivers.
• Valid license or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Michigan.
• Master’s or entry-level doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills, with the ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team.
• Commitment to neurodivergent-affirming, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive practice.
• Previous pediatric clinic, school-based, or early intervention experience is preferred but not required.
