Connect Pediatrics is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team serving the Stigler, Oklahoma area. You will provide in-home therapy for pediatric patients, collaborate with families, and work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid, active OT license in Oklahoma.
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations using standardized tests for pediatric patients.
• Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with physician orders.
• Provide in-home therapy services for pediatric patients with various diagnoses.
• Communicate regularly with families about goals and progress.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create holistic plans.
• Maintain thorough documentation and communicate changes to the care team.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss patient progress and strategies.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations, using standardized tests to determine pediatric patients' needs for therapy.
• Use your clinical judgment to develop and implement relevant treatment plans aligned with physician's orders.
• Provide in-home therapy services for pediatric patients with a ride range of diagnoses.
• Engage with patients' families, providing them with regular communication and updates on goals for their child.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including other therapy disciplines, physicians, and nurses, to develop holistic treatment plans that address the diverse needs of each patient
• Maintain comprehensive documentation that reflects the care provided and communicates changes in treatment plans to the entire healthcare team.
• Actively participate in one-on-one meetings with team leads to discuss patient progress, share insights, and refine treatment strategies collaboratively.

Requirements

MUST have:

• A valid, active Occupational Therapy license in the state of Oklahoma
• Current BLS/CPR License
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and automotive insurance
• Pediatric experience is preferred but not required
