Job summary

Inova Health System in Ashburn, VA is seeking an Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Pediatric and Adolescent OBGYN team. This full-time day shift role runs Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm.

The RN will provide safe, therapeutic care in an outpatient physician practice, with duties including medication refills, inbox management, patient education and care coordination to improve outcomes. Virginia licensure and a BSN (or ADN with BSN within 5 years) are required, plus BLS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
• RN licensure in Virginia or eligibility.
• BSN within 5 years if ADN holder.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Medication refills for patients.
• In-basket management and coordination.
• Provides safe, therapeutic care in outpatient settings.
• Educates patients and families and coordinates care.
• Offers clinical guidance to team members and mentors.
