Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ABC-recognized O&P certification or 1 year of applicable technical experience required.
• Ability to fabricate various orthoses/prostheses under supervision.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate orthoses or prostheses per lab supervisor guidance.
• Create plaster molds, cast removal, thermoforming, cutting, and smoothing plastics.
• Contour, drill, polish metal work, and assist practitioners as needed.
• Fit patients with shoes or shoe lifts; manage inventory and materials.
• Assist in training residents and students as assigned.
• Perform duties of production assistant when required.
