Grand Canyon University is hiring a full-time Pediatric Lab/Clinical Nursing Faculty in St. Louis to support didactic and clinical instruction for pre-licensure nurses.

You will provide direct and indirect instruction, evaluate student performance, and help align curricula with current nursing practices within the Pediatric area. The role requires an MSN, MO RN licensure, and clinical teaching experience or strong potential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) required.
• Minimum of 2 years’ pediatric clinical nursing experience within the last 2 years.
• Active and unencumbered MO or compact RN license.
• Prior collegiate teaching experience preferred.
• Evidence of professional involvement (organizations, presentations, publications).
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with students and preceptors.

Responsibilities

• Reinforces didactic content and teaches in clinical and lab settings.
• Collaborates with faculty to evaluate and document student progress.
• Participates in grading written and Clinical/Lab performance check-offs.
• Maintains communication with program faculty and director; attends select meetings.
• Stays current with trends in pediatric nursing and accreditation requirements.
• Travel to student clinical sites to observe performance.
