Job summary

The Totally-Kids hospital seeks a Specialty Nurse Educator who will deliver expert nursing education in pediatric subspecialties. The educator serves as a clinical role model, mentor, and resource to the clinical staff and partners with management and the LIP team to identify learning needs and deliver cost-effective training.

Qualifications

• Current California RN license is required.
• BLS, PALS and ACLS certifications required on hire.
• Minimum five years of acute pediatric clinical experience preferred.
• Minimum three years in a specified pediatric nursing specialty.
• Minimum one year of experience educating nurses in the specialty area.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and communicate effectively in English.
