Job summary

Magee Resource Group has partnered with a leading children’s hospital to recruit a Nursing Director of Pediatrics. This nurse executive will oversee Pediatric Acute Care, Intermediate Care, Hematology/Oncology, the Pediatric ICU, and a Pediatric and Neonatal Flight Transport program.

The role reports to the Chief Nursing Officer and carries operational, financial, and strategic responsibility for 100+ beds and 5 Nurse Managers.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience at the Director level within pediatric critical care.
• BSN required; master's degree completed or in progress preferred.
• Experience managing operations, budgets, labor relations, and workforce planning.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Pediatric Acute Care, Intermediate Care, Hematology/Oncology, the PICU, and a Pediatric/Neonatal Flight Transport program.
• Reports to the Chief Nursing Officer with operational, financial, and strategic responsibility for 100+ beds and 5 Nurse Managers.
• Build trust across nursing and physician teams while driving results in a unionized environment.
