University of San Francisco seeks part-time adjunct Pediatric Nursing Clinical Faculty to teach pre-licensure students in clinical settings. A minimum of 1 year of continuous direct patient care in relevant areas within the last 5 years is required, or experience as a clinical instructor.

California RN license must be current and active. The role involves on-site supervision, travel to clinical sites, and coordination of prebriefings and debriefings.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing with evidence of an established area of clinical expertise and demonstrable skills.
• Experience in clinical teaching, student supervision, and teaching methods are desired but not required.
• Other clinical/agencies requirements as needed.
• Within the last 5 years, one year of direct patient care nursing experience corresponding to the area taught; acute care experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Be on-site with students during the entire clinical experience for some placements; for others, supervise remotely via designated preceptors.
• Travel to nursing worksite at least weekly; coordinate pre-shift meetings, mid-shift huddles, and post-conferences as required.
• Conduct student performance evaluations at mid-term and end of course to assign grades.
• Attend departmental, program, and clinical meetings as required.
• Travel to clinical sites (not a USF campus) at least once per semester; some courses may require multiple sites.
