Job summary

Grand Canyon University is seeking an Immediate Full-Time Faculty Member for Pediatrics at the College of Nursing and Health Care Professions. The home base is the W. Valley ABSN site, with daily travel within the Greater Phoenix area to observe clinical rotations at sites.

The role involves teaching, coordinating with faculty, and ensuring accreditation compliance. Requirements include MSN, 2+ years pediatric clinical nursing, and an active AZ RN license; teaching experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold MSN with active RN license in AZ or compact state.
• Minimum 2 years’ pediatric clinical nursing experience.
• Prior collegiate teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reinforce didactic content in clinical and lab settings.
• Collaborate with faculty to evaluate and document student progress.
• Grade written work and clinical/lab performance check-offs.
• Maintain communication with program faculty and director.
• Stay current with trends in pediatric nursing and accreditation requirements.
• Travel to student clinical sites to observe performance.
