Penn State Hershey Medical Center is offering a Graduate Nurse Residency Program for new RN graduates. This full-time RN position provides a structured educational transition, with hands-on patient care on the PIMCU unit and yearly commitment to a single unit for the program duration.

Applicants must have a Temporary Practice Permit or be licensed, graduate within a year, and possess BLS prior to orientation end.

Qualifications

• Graduate Nurse with a Temporary Practice Permit or licensed RN.
• Graduated within one year of cohort start date.
• AHA BLS prior to end of orientation period.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for a designated group of patients.
• Remain on one unit for the entire year of the program and actively participate in all learning opportunities.
• Complete theGraduate Nurse Residency Program requirements.
