The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner role is a full-time, on-site position located in North Atlanta, GA. This role includes providing comprehensive pediatric primary care, including wellness visits, immunizations, developmental screenings, and acute and chronic illness management for infants, children, and adolescents. Day-to-day responsibilities involve conducting patient assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, developing and adjusting treatment plans, prescribing medications in accordance with applicable regulations, and documenting care in the electronic health record. The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner will collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other clinical team members, communicate with families about care plans and preventive health, and participate in quality improvement initiatives. The role also includes patient education, coordination of care with community resources and specialists, and adherence to clinical guidelines and organizational policies.
