Qualifications

Role Description

The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will provide comprehensive primary care to pediatric and adolescent patients in an on-site clinical setting located in Dallas, GA. This full-time role includes conducting well-child visits, sick visits, and follow-up appointments; performing physical exams; ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests; and developing age-appropriate treatment plans. Daily responsibilities also include providing patient and family education, counseling on preventive care and immunizations, documenting encounters in the electronic health record, and coordinating care with physicians and other healthcare professionals. The clinician will participate in practice workflows, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, and support a safe, welcoming environment for patients and families.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant and eligibility to practice in the state of Georgia.
• Board certification (or eligibility) in pediatrics or relevant primary care specialty.
• Demonstrated clinical skills in pediatric assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment.
• Strong patient and family communication skills, including clear education and counseling tailored to diverse populations.
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and support staff in a team-based care model.
• Proficiency with electronic health records, documentation, and basic clinical technology.
• Commitment to accessible, inclusive, and culturally responsive healthcare for children and adolescents.
