Job summary

Pediatrica seeks an experienced Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our outpatient pediatric team in a physician-led setting.

Responsibilities include comprehensive evaluations, diagnosis and management of conditions, and developing individualized care plans. This daytime, in-person role emphasizes family-centered care and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Florida ARNP license or ability to obtain.
• Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) certification required.
• FNPs with significant pediatric experience may be considered.
• At least 1 year of pediatric clinical experience.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Strong EHR and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pediatric evaluations, including medical history and physical exams.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic tests.
• Prescribe medications and treatments within scope of practice.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams.
• Educate patients and families on health, prevention, and treatment plans.
• Document care accurately and timely in the electronic health record.
