Job summary

CommuniCare Health Centers (Texas) seeks a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Kyle to deliver outpatient primary pediatric care under supervision, following clinical protocols and reporting to the Lead Pediatrician. Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited university.
• Board Certified PNCB, AANP or ANCC required.
• Current unrestricted license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in Texas.
• DEA registration current.
• BLS certification.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Examines, diagnoses, treats and/or refers pediatric patients on an outpatient basis.
• Maintains patient records and documentation in the electronic health record.
• Ensures timely follow-up and continuity of care with supervising physician.
