CommuniCare in Kyle, TX is seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to deliver outpatient pediatric primary care under a supervising physician. The position focuses on comprehensive preventive and acute care for children, with collaborative practice and adherence to clinical protocols.

You will participate in health promotion activities, document visits promptly, and coordinate with specialists as needed, while maintaining productive patient flow and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing as NP from an accredited program.
• Board certification: PNCB, AANP, or ANCC.
• Active Texas NP license and DEA registration.
• BLS certification required; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsabilités

• Examine, diagnose, treat or refer pediatric patients; prescribe meds with supervising physician.
• Maintain problem-oriented health records per policies; document visits in EHR within 24 hours.
• Ensure continuity of care; provide services per clinic schedule.
• Refer patients for specialty care, labs, imaging as needed.
• Review lab/X-ray reports and make medical decisions.
• Maintain productivity and efficient patient flow.
• Provide excellent customer service by phone, fax or in person.
• Train/mentor medical students and clinical staff.
• Follow clinic policies and quality and safety standards.
• Participate in health promotion and clinic meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
