Pediatrix Medical Group in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an APRN to join our neonatology practice. The role provides daily in-house coverage in the NICU with no call requirements, collaborating with in-house neonatologists and affiliated specialists to care for low-acuity newborns.

Responsibilities include daily rounding, patient assessments, and developing care plans; neonatologist backup is provided for high-risk cases.

Qualifications

  • Current APRN national specialty certification.
  • Minimum of a master’s degree.
  • Certification types: NNP, PNP, or PNP-AC; FNP not accepted.

Our team includes in‑house neonatologists and affiliated professionals, such as neonatal nurse practitioners, developmental pediatricians, cardiologists, MFMs, and pediatric surgeons. Together, we provide comprehensive newborn services.

  • Responsibilities include daily rounding, patient assessments, developing and managing plan of care for low‑acuity infants and newborns in the NICU setting
  • Neonatologist assistance/backup is provided as needed and in all high‑risk situations
  • Opportunity to participate in education and quality improvement initiatives
  • Flexible work schedule; work 13-16 days per month with some weekends
  • Position accepts following certifications: NNP, PNP, PNP-AC. Unable to consider FNPs for this position
