MaineGeneral Medical Center's Kennebec Pediatrics practice is seeking a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join a collegial team. The NP will deliver compassionate, professional care for patients from infancy to young adulthood in an outpatient setting.

Highlights include 32 clinical hours with dedicated admin time, no evening clinics, and a 1-in-8 weekend call. Opportunity to fill in as pediatric hospitalist if desired. UNE students rotate through the practice.

Qualifikationen

• Board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with current APRN licensure.
• Pediatric outpatient experience preferred.

Job Description:

Kennebec Pediatrics, a thriving, well-established practice of MaineGeneral Medical Center, is seeking a board certified and experienced Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, to join their collegial team, meeting patients’ medical needs through compassionate, respectful and professional care.

Join an incredible team at Kennebec Pediatrics including 8 physicians and a full complement of nursing and support staff in an outpatient setting, providing comprehensive medical care from infancy to young adulthood.

Highlights of the position include:

• Schedule consists of 32 clinical hours and the benefit of 8 hours scheduled, dedicated administrative time

• No evening clinic hours

• No inpatient pediatric, Emergency Department or newborn nursery coverage.

• Call rotation consists of 1 in 8 weekends.

• After-hours on call service that begins at 4:50 pm - 7:45 am on weekdays, weekend call service begins at 2:00 pm to 9:00 am.

• Third year medical students from UNE rotate through the practices.

• Opportunity to fill in as pediatric hospitalist if desired, although not required.
