Job summary

Jane Pauley Community Health Center, Inc. seeks a Pediatric PMHNP to deliver comprehensive behavioral health services in a team-based clinic.

You will assess, diagnose, and treat mental health concerns in children and adolescents, coordinating with primary care and school partners to improve access to care. The role requires 3–5 years of pediatric experience, current Indiana licenses, and PMHNP-BC certification.

Qualifications

• MSN or DNP with PMH specialization and PMHNP-BC certification.
• Current Indiana RN and APRN licenses with CSR and DEA registrations.
• BLS certification and experience caring for children and adolescents.
• Strong communication, collaboration and time-management skills.
• Proficient in electronic medical records and office productivity tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations, history review, and mental status exams.
• Diagnose conditions using DSM-5 criteria and create integrated treatment plans.
• Initiate and manage psychopharmacologic treatment with monitoring.
• Collaborate with school-based teams, primary care, and specialists to coordinate care.
• Provide brief therapies and psychoeducation within scope and workflow.
• Support same-day access and warm handoffs for timely mental health care.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, options, and self-care.
• Participate in team huddles, case reviews, and population health initiatives.
