Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia is hiring a full-time Nurse Practitioner to work at our Karabots office. The role involves 32 clinical hours and 4 administrative hours under the Division of Ambulatory Care guidelines, providing health care management for well and sick children in the ambulatory network.

You will participate in scholarly activities and professional development, with emphasis on safety, education, and evidence-based practice within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree Nursing is required.
• Ability to work in an inter-professional team setting with multiple responsibilities.
• Ability to use computer and electronic medical record effectively.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills and MS Office tools.
• Familiarity with clinical information systems and patient data access.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose including history, physical exam, and order tests.
• Implement and monitor treatment plans and provide family education.
• Collaborate with attending physicians and other health professionals.
• Engage in quality improvement, education, and scholarly activities.
• Serve as preceptor and mentor for staff and students.
