Job summary

Children's Hospital of Philadelphia is seeking a Primary Care Nurse for its 3550 Market St Primary Care office. The position is Monday-Friday with one evening shift per week and a rotating Saturday shift, based on operational needs.

Two years of nursing, pediatric, and/or Primary Care experience is preferred. The nurse will provide safe pediatric family-centered care and assist management with administrative tasks across the care network sites.

Qualifications

• Two years of nursing, pediatric, and/or Primary Care experience is preferred.
• Registered Nurse in PA or NJ preferred; BLS certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Follows Nursing Process to deliver safe care
• Collaborates with family and care team to update plan of care
• Manages care of complex patients with proper prioritization and delegation
• Provides accurate patient status reports to the team
• Chairs or participates in unit PPM council and supports nursing practice improvements
