Healthy Child Pediatrics LLC is seeking a dedicated pediatric nurse practitioner for an on-site role serving patients from birth through 21 years old. The clinician will conduct assessments, diagnose illnesses, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with families and the care team.

The position supports both part-time and full-time arrangements; Spanish fluency and strong pediatric knowledge are highly valued to educate families and ensure quality care.

Qualifications

• Current pediatric NP certification with valid state licensure.
• Fluency in Spanish is preferred.
• Experience with children and pediatric health assessments.
• Knowledge of pediatric physiology and diagnostic evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical exams and health assessments for pediatric patients from birth to 21 years.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with healthcare teams and families.
• Prescribe medications and therapies per HIPAA, CPT, and state laws.
• Administer vaccines per CDC schedule.
• Document encounters in EMR (NextGen) complying with HIPAA.
• Coordinate care with outpatient and inpatient teams.

We are seeking a Part-time or Full-time dedicated and energetic Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role you will provide comprehensive pediatric care, including assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for children across various age groups ranging from birth through 21 years of age. Your expertise in pediatric health, combined with your passion for working with children, will help foster a supportive environment that promotes healthy growth and development.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and health assessments of pediatric patients, including infants, toddlers, children, and adolescents.


• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals and families.


• Prescribe medications and therapies following HIPAA regulations, CPT coding standards, and state-specific practice laws.


• Administer vaccinations in accordance with CDC vaccine schedule


• Utilize EMR/EHR system (NextGen) to document patient encounters accurately while ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards.


• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across outpatient clinics and inpatient settings to coordinate patient care effectively.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) with valid state licensure.


• Fluency in Spanish


• Proven experience working with children


• Strong knowledge of pediatric physiology, medical terminology and diagnostic evaluation techniques


• Familiarity with EMR systems


• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environment


• Excellent client communication skills to educate families on health, discharge planning, and medication administration.
