Job summary

Healthy Child Pediatrics LLC in New Jersey is seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic team on a part-time or full-time basis. You will deliver comprehensive pediatric care for children from birth through 21, including exams, diagnoses, treatment planning, vaccinations, and family education in a collaborative setting with NextGen EMR.

Spanish fluency is preferred to serve diverse families.

Qualifications

• PNP certification with valid state licensure.
• Fluency in Spanish.
• Experience working with children.
• Strong knowledge of pediatric physiology, medical terminology and diagnostics.
• Familiarity with EMR systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication with families about health, discharge planning, and medications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical examinations and health assessments of pediatric patients from birth through 21 years.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with healthcare teams and families.
• Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with regulations and state laws.
• Administer vaccinations according to CDC schedule.
• Document patient encounters accurately in the NextGen EMR while ensuring HIPAA compliance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across outpatient and inpatient settings to coordinate care.

We are seeking a Part-time or Full-time dedicated and energetic Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role you will provide comprehensive pediatric care, including assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for children across various age groups ranging from birth through 21 years of age. Your expertise in pediatric health, combined with your passion for working with children, will help foster a supportive environment that promotes healthy growth and development.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and health assessments of pediatric patients, including infants, toddlers, children, and adolescents.


• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals and families.


• Prescribe medications and therapies following HIPAA regulations, CPT coding standards, and state-specific practice laws.


• Administer vaccinations in accordance with CDC vaccine schedule


• Utilize EMR/EHR system (NextGen) to document patient encounters accurately while ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards.


• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across outpatient clinics and inpatient settings to coordinate patient care effectively.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) with valid state licensure.


• Fluency in Spanish


• Proven experience working with children


• Strong knowledge of pediatric physiology, medical terminology and diagnostic evaluation techniques


• Familiarity with EMR systems


• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environment


• Excellent client communication skills to educate families on health, discharge planning, and medication administration.
