Job summary

Maryville Academy is seeking a Nurse Manager for evenings on a full-time hybrid schedule in Chicago, IL 60018. The role requires an Illinois RN license, CPR certification, and pediatric/hospital nursing experience. Supervisory experience is preferred for this leadership position.

The Nurse Manager will direct nursing staff, ensure timely care, manage schedules, recertify staff, and monitor program quality to keep youth safe and well-cared-for.

Qualifications

• RN licensed and CPR certified in Illinois.
• Experience in pediatric, emergency care or hospital nursing preferred.
• Minimum one year of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of nurses and CNAs providing care to children and families.
• Maintain staff schedules and coverage for evenings and weekends as needed.
• Ensure CPR, TB screenings and physicals are recertified on schedule.
• Document care and orders accurately in clinical records.
• Process orders promptly within two hours of receipt.
• Contribute to hiring processes and interviews.
