Job summary

BrightStar Care of Salt Lake City is seeking an RN or LPN to provide pediatric home care for a client in Sandy, UT. Shifts are evenings (Mon-Tue, 9pm–9am) with competitive pay and benefits.

You will administer medications, support verbal and developmental skills, and perform vent/trach care as part of a patient-centered Plan of Care. Requires UT license, CPR/ACLS, TB test, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year pediatric home care experience.
• Current unrestricted Utah RN or LPN license.
• Current CPR and ACLS certifications.
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home nursing care per Plan of Care.
• Conduct in-home assessments.
• Monitor changes in clients’ conditions and inform the Director of Nursing and appropriate personnel.
• Proactively update families regarding care plans, health changes, and concerns.

RN and LPN Responsibilities

• Provide thoughtful care to clients based on individualized Plan of Care
• Conduct in-home assessments

RN and LPN Requirements
