Children’s Mercy Kansas City is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide age-appropriate nursing care, educate patients and families, and advocate for their needs. You will coordinate care with the care team to maintain a safe, family-centered environment and apply evidence-based practices in daily practice.

The role requires MO or KS RN licensure (multistate allowed) with BSN preferred for newer hires and life-support certifications.

Formación

Associate's Degree or higher needed; BSN preferred for some roles.
Licensed RN Missouri or Kansas required upon hire.
Multistate RN license accepted; state-specific requirements apply.
Life Support Certifications required within 90 days of start.
Specialty certification relevant to unit preferred.

Responsabilidades

Utilizes the nursing process to develop and implement a safe, high quality, comprehensive, and age-appropriate plan of care for the patient and family that promotes optimal patient outcomes.
Meets the educational needs of the patient and family and advocates for their needs.
Maintains an environment that is safe, comfortable, efficient, and family-centered.
Utilizes current research and evidence for practice to expand personal professional knowledge, enhance role performance, and improve nursing care quality.
