Job summary

Children’s Mercy Kansas City is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, age-appropriate care within the Developmental and Behavioral Health team. You will apply the nursing process to develop care plans, educate families, and ensure a safe, family-centered environment.

Required ADN with Kansas or MO licensure; BSN preferred for hires after 2013, with multistate licensure within 90 days. This on-site role offers market-competitive pay starting at $32/hr.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree ADN required; BSN preferred for hires after Sept 1, 2013.
• Licensed RN in Kansas or Missouri; multistate license required within 90 days.
• Life Support Certifications required upon hire; specialty certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to develop and implement a safe, high-quality plan of care for the patient and family.
• Meets the educational needs of the patient and family and advocates for their needs.
• Maintains an environment that is safe, comfortable, efficient, and family-centered.
