Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Registered Nursing program in good standing.
• Completed junior year of BSN or first year of ADN prior to externship.
• Completed at least one hospital-based medical-surgical rotation before start date.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care and assist with activities of daily living under RN supervision.
• Support plans of care and communicate changes in patient condition to the RN.
• Provide safe, developmentally appropriate care to pediatric patients.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow safety/infection control policies.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
