Job summary

Qualifications

• Current license as Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in CT with national certification.
• Demonstrated pediatrics evaluation and management skills for medically complex conditions.
• Strong collaboration and communication within interdisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency with electronic health records and clinical documentation.
• Knowledge of pediatric pulmonary care, brain injury, neuromuscular disorders, autism spectrum disorders is advantageous.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage caseloads in fast-paced clinical settings.
• Commitment to patient-centered, culturally sensitive care aligned with not-for-profit mission.
• Graduate degree from an accredited NP or PA program; pediatric or medically complex experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform rounds and direct advanced practice care for pediatric patients with complex conditions.
• Order and interpret tests, diagnose, and develop individualized care plans with physicians.
• Prescribe medications and treatments per protocols in collaboration with care team.
• Coordinate with nursing, rehabilitation and allied health to support discharge planning.
• Maintain documentation and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
