Job summary

Boston Children’s Hospital is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join the Complex Care Service in an inpatient pediatric setting. The role focuses on evaluating and managing children with medical complexity, coordinating care, and leading education for staff within a fast-paced, collaborative team.

Requirements include a Master’s in Nursing and Pediatric NP certification; experience with complex pediatric cases is preferred. Flexible shifts and a strong benefits package support this role.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing is required.
• Current MA NP license with PNP or FNP certification.
• Experience with children with medical complexity preferred.
• New graduate NP may be considered with 2+ years of inpatient pediatric RN experience and/or strong inpatient pediatric clinical rotations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, and facilitate care for medical and surgical patients with medical complexity.
• Help implement interventions to improve care systems and enhance patient safety.
• Collaborate with supervising physicians and the nursing/medical team to promote optimal care.
• Act as a clinical resource and facilitate staff educational opportunities.
• Participate in learning, quality improvement, and/or research initiatives.
