Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN) program.
• Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider in North Carolina.
• Board certification as required by the department.
• PICU experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect medical histories and perform physical assessments; develop differential diagnoses.
• Create and manage treatment plans with evidence-based pharmacology and follow-up.
• Educate patients and families; prepare teaching materials and sessions.
• Lead and participate in interdisciplinary rounds and quality-improvement initiatives.
• Document care thoroughly to support accurate billing and continuity of care.
