Job summary

Nexus Children’s Hospital – Dallas seeks an experienced Nursing House Supervisor (RN) to provide clinical leadership and on-site hospital oversight during the night shift. You will guide staff, coordinate staffing and patient flow, and ensure safe, high‑quality pediatric care across units.

The role emphasizes collaboration with physicians and nursing leaders, incident response, and maintaining regulatory compliance, infection prevention, and documentation in the EHR.

Qualifications

• Three years of clinical nursing experience with at least two years in leadership or supervisory roles.
• Pediatric nursing experience preferred (acute care).
• Texas RN licensure and BLS/ACLS/PALS as required by unit.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary on‑site nursing and administrative resource during assigned night shifts.
• Provide clinical oversight and support to nursing staff across units.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, discharges, and bed management for safe patient care.
• Assess patient acuity and adjust staffing accordingly.
• Participate in clinical rounds and coordinate responses to emergencies.
