Job summary

MGA Homecare in North Carolina is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN/LVN) or registered nurse (RN) to provide skilled care for a pediatric patient during weekday nights (3p–11p). Under supervision, you will perform nursing assessments, implement the plan of care, document findings, and communicate changes to the Clinical Services Director.

Candidates must have an active NC license, CPR, TB screen or chest X-ray, reliable transportation, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Active NC nursing license is required.
• CPR certification is required per agency policy.
• Reliable transportation to reach patient homes.
• Flexible, organized and able to exercise independent judgment.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled nursing as ordered on the plan of treatment and nursing care plan.
• Documents care in clinical notes, supplemental orders and nursing care plan.
• Communicates changes in patient status to Director of Clinical Services or Clinical Manager.
• Requests modification of orders based on patient status and nursing judgment.
• Participates in mandated agency activities and adheres to MGA policies.
