Qualifikationen

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required (CCS requirement).
• Minimum of three years RN pediatric nursing or related experience.
• Proven ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and professional conduct.
• Computer literate with MS Word, Outlook, internet use; experience with EHRs.
• High level organizational skills; capable of meeting deadlines and working independently.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate clinical care for Pediatric Brain Center clinic patients.
• Screen patient referrals and coordinate evaluations for timely care.
• Ensure efficient patient care flow and patient education for families.
• Act as liaison between inpatient and outpatient nursing staff.
• Assist in development of patient care standards and practices.
• Communicate with ancillary services to resolve problems and optimize resources.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care among pediatrics neurology and neurosurgery teams.
