Job summary

Akron Children’s is seeking a Program Director for Neuropsychology to lead and train staff, oversee neuropsychology programming, and ensure evidence-based assessment and treatment approaches across pediatric services.

The role reports to the Director of Psychology and collaborates with Psychiatry and Behavioral Health to support patient-centered care, research opportunities, and professional growth within a dedicated children’s hospital.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Psy.D. in child/pediatric psychology with APA/CPA internship.
• Eligibility for Ohio licensure and completion of pediatric neuropsychology fellowship.
• Board certification in Clinical Neuropsychology within 5 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee neuropsychology programming and staff training.
• Ensure adherence to evidence-based assessment and treatment modalities.
• Liaise between Psychiatry and Behavioral Health and other departments.
