The role includes clinical, research, teaching and service responsibilities, with outpatient, general neurology and call duties.

The position is onsite at the Pediatric Neurology division, with a strong emphasis on collaboration across clinics, teaching residents and fellows, and developing movement

Qualifications

• MD or DO required; board eligibility in pediatric neurology.
• DEA certificate required.
• Colorado medical license must be obtainable.
• Movement disorders experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient evaluation of pediatric neurological disorders.
• Ongoing follow-up care in clinic and by phone.
• Participation in Tic, Tone and Tremor Clinic.
• Participation in Complex Movement Clinic.
• Attend inpatient neurology consult coverage.
• Develop a deep brain stimulator program.
• Collaborate with rehab medicine for movement disorders.
• Collaborate with staff neurologists on patient care.
• Teach clinical care concepts to NP, PA, Residents and RNs.
