Job summary

University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, CO seeks an Open Rank-Assistant or Associate Professor to provide clinical care for pediatric movement disorders and other neurological conditions. The incumbent will participate in outpatient clinics, general neurology, and teaching across residency and NP/PA programs.

The role includes leadership in movement disorders clinics and potential development of a deep brain stimulation program, with collaboration across rehab and neurology

Qualifications

• MD or DO required.
• Board eligibility in Neurology with a Special Competence in Child Neurology preferred or required by level.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient evaluation of pediatric neurological disorders.
• Ongoing follow-up care in clinic and by phone.
• Participation in Tic, Tone and Tremor Clinic.
• Participation in Complex Movement Clinic.
• Attend inpatient neurology consult staffing.
• Develop a Deep brain stimulator program.
• Collaborate with rehab medicine for movement disorders including cerebral palsy.
• Collaborate with care teams to optimize patient management.
• Teach clinical care concepts to NP/PA/Residents/RNs.
