Qualifikationen

• RN license in Texas or Nurse License Compact.
• CPR – Basic Life Support (AHA).
• 9 months nursing experience (minimum).
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or an associate’s degree in nursing with BSN pathway enrollment.

Aufgaben

• Assess patient/family biophysical, psychosocial and developmental needs.
• Analyze patient status, anticipate problems, and update the care plan.
• Participate in rounds and document in the medical record.
• Assist patients/family in implementing their role in the plan of care.
• Assess patient/family learning needs and readiness to learn.
• Demonstrate interpersonal skills with patients, families and staff.
• Administer and document medications and treatments promptly.
• Engage in unit performance improvement initiatives.
