Ohio-based Akron Children's Hospital seeks a Pediatric Nephrologist to join its expanding care team. As the largest pediatric healthcare system in Northeast Ohio, recently recognized by Modern Healthcare as the fastest-growing children's hospital in the nation, we are committed to excellence in pediatric care.
The successful candidate will join a team of three pediatric nephrologists diagnosing and treating children and teens with kidney-related diseases, including high blood pressure, urinary tract infections, nephrotic syndrome, glomerulonephritis, kidney stones, pheresis services, kidney failure, and pre- and post-transplant care. Our facilities include a kidney dialysis and renal care center for children with kidney failure.
Requirements include board eligibility or certification in Pediatric Nephrology and the ability to obtain an Ohio medical license.
This position qualifies for Public Service Loan Forgiveness through the Federal government as it is based at a 501(c)(3) site.
