Job summary

OU Health is seeking an MRI Technologist across levels I–III for the Children’s Hospital. The role involves performing routine MRI exams under supervision, prep of patients, administering contrast, and accurate documentation in EMR/PACS. Training and advancement opportunities exist based on experience and certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited imaging, radiology or nuclear medicine program as defined by ARRT or ARMRIT or completion of JRCERT accredited Military Educational Program is accepted in lieu of other educational requirements.
• ARRT(RT) or ARMRIT certification required within 12 months of hire.
• Associate degree required for MRI Technologist II/III.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine MRI examinations under supervision according to protocols and safety guidelines.
• Prepare patients for procedures and correlate clinical history with exams.
• Safely administer contrast per protocol.
• Transfer images and data to EMR/PACS and prepare studies for physician reporting.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform basic QC checks.
