Job summary

Luskin Orthopaedic Institute for Children in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join our Advanced Imaging team. You will perform high-quality diagnostic MRI exams and work closely with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and staff to provide a safe, compassionate imaging experience for all ages.

The role also supports multimodality imaging, including X-ray, fluoroscopy, and CT, and emphasizes patient-centered care, safety, and clear communication with families.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
• ARRT MRI and Radiologic Technology certification as applicable.
• California CRT and CRT Fluoroscopy certification.
• BLS/CPR certification and strong MRI safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic MRI examinations following protocols and standards.
• Provide safe imaging for pediatric to geriatric patients with compassionate care.
• Verify patient identity, demographics, and exam details prior to imaging.
• Screen MRI safety and manage equipment, safety zones, and emergencies.
• Position patients, select techniques, and administer contrast as needed.
• Support multimodality imaging (X-ray, fluoroscopy, CT) when required.
• Educate patients and families, maintain patient flow, and ensure privacy.
