Job summary

Valley Children’s Healthcare is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to perform standard and specialty MR procedures for pediatric patients. You will operate high-field MRI systems, apply safety protocols, and deliver high-quality studies while upholding our patient-centered care values.

Ideal candidates have an MRI program credential, ARRT RT-MR certification, BLS, and at least six months MRI experience; pediatric experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current MRI program credential and ARRT RT-MR certification are required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire or transfer.
• Minimum six months MRI experience; pediatric experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Monteris equipment and elastography is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard and specialty MR procedures with accuracy for pediatric patients.
• Apply safety measures and follow the Environment of Care requirements.
• Maintain knowledge of MRI physics, cross-sectional anatomy, and image production.
• Adhere to ethical standards and departmental policies in all exams.
• Assist in achieving high-quality diagnostic studies with minimal supervision.
